ACADEMIC COORDINATION UNIT
The figure responsible for the Doctoral Programme is the Academic Commission of the Doctoral Programme that is established according to current regulations and is constituted by professors of the Department of Biotechnology-Plant Biology. The management and administrative support body for the Academic Doctoral Commission is the Secretariat of the Doctoral Programme. The President and the Academic Secretary of the Doctoral Programme will act as President and Secretary of the Academic Commission, respectively.
La Academic Commission of the Doctoral Programme is comformed by the Coordinator and the Secretary of the Programme, and by three professors (preferably the Guarantors) from each one of the three Areas. Nowadays, the CAPD is composed by:

In some administrative and academic procedures, the Academic Commission delegates to a Management Commission. This commission carries out a preliminary assessment of the documentation (including the admission documentation), monitors the activities of the Programme, and submits proposed resolutions to the Academic Commission of the Doctorate Programme, which is ultimately the one that can adopt the decisions.
