TUTORIAL ACTION

Once admitted to the Programme, the Academic Committee will assign a Tutor to each enrolled student from among the Programme teachers. The tutor will be his/her future Thesis supervisor if he/she is a member of the UPM. In the event that the future director is from outside the UPM, the tutor will be a UPM professor who will advise the student on the university's procedures. The Tutor will be responsible for supervising the work of the doctoral students during the training phase (if any) and for approving the annual reports.

The rights and duties of the doctoral student, Thesis director and tutor are specified in the Compromiso de Formación y Supervisión del Doctorado (Doctoral Student Training and Supervision Commitment Agreement), which must be delivered to the Academic Committee of the Programme within 6 months from enrollment.
